In June of 2008, AJ Michalka (of Aly & AJ) came to visit Return to Freedom and Neda DeMayo. Being a horsewoman herself, AJ felt that this was the perfect organization for her to work with on behalf of wild horses.
The multi-talented musician-singer/songwriter and actress says, "It’s an honor to use my voice to help bring awareness to the young community about America’s wild horses. People need to understand that the survival of ALL wildlife is threatened worldwide. "
