Isadora-Cruce

Isadora-Cruce

Isadora-Cruce is a Medicine Hat brown & white pinto, and was born at Return To Freedom in July 2002. Her mother is Sonora-Cruce a foundation mare that came off the Wilbur-Cruce Ranch when it was dispersed in 1990. Her father Francisco-Cruce is a stout paint stallion.

In 1990 when the ranch was sold and added to the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge the horses were dispersed through the minor breed's conservancy. These horses are direct descendents from father Kinos horses at the famous mission Dolores. Father Kino was known as the priest on horseback, and started all the great ranchos and missions in Southern Arizona and New Mexico.

Isadora-Cruce is a full sister to Diamonte who is available for youth sponsorship, and is on our rare breed's link. The Wilbur Cruce horses represent an undiluted strain of a Spanish ranch breed. Known for great stamina and character these horses are easy to love.
